Relay for Life 2009

The 2009 Relay for Life was a huge success despite the rain that dampened the event.  The Relay was moved indoors which made things a little cramped but everyone seemed to take it in stride.  It was so heart-warming to see so much enthusiasm supporting such an important cause.

Our Country Patches team did a wonderful job raising money for the event.  Martha's Raffle Quilt raised over $500.00 and the Silent Auction items raised over $100.00.  According to Martha, our team captain, we should have collected enough donations to reach the Silver rating.  When we have a final totals for Country Patches as well as the entire Relay for Life we will update this site.

A big "thank you" goes out to everyone who supported our effort with your work, your donations and your prayers.  What a team!
